Stephenie Malan, LMHC
Hello! I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor providing services to individuals of all ages, couples, and families. I am passionate about helping people to overcoming life’s challenges—creating the most meaningful, successful, and purposeful life they desire. I believe in the importance of walking alongside people throughout their journey, offering a safe and caring place for people to feel respected and heard to explore life’s challenges.
I have spent the last 3 years working with high-risk adolescents and their families in crisis, in addition to working with clients struggling with eating disorders, personality disorders, ADHD, oppositional defiance disorders, PTSD and self-harm. My approach is integrative and includes working with EMDR, DBT techniques, emotion regulation techniques, Acceptance Commitment techniques, mindfulness, and play therapy. I have extensive training in trauma inform care and techniques.
There are times in life that people experience intense grief and trauma, I believe in providing hope and encouragement in the healing process. I am a strong advocate for suicide awareness and prevention, working with individuals to find hope, meaning, and purpose in their darkest times. I feel honored to be a part of a person’s journey to healing.
