Elizabeth Griffiths, MS, LMHC
Licensed Mental Health Counselor
Hello, and welcome! I’m Elizabeth Griffiths, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and the owner of Cornerstone Counseling Group, LLC. I know that reaching out for counseling can feel like a big step, and I’m committed to providing a warm, compassionate space where you can feel heard, supported, and respected.
For the past 14 years, I have helped adults and couples work through anxiety, depression, ADHD, grief and loss, self-esteem concerns, various types of trauma, relationship difficulties, and other challenging life experiences. I especially enjoy helping couples improve communication, work through conflict, rebuild trust, and feel more connected.
My Christian faith is an important part of who I am, and I welcome the opportunity to incorporate biblical principles into counseling when a client requests it. At the same time, I warmly welcome people from all backgrounds and belief systems, and I will always respect your individual values and preferences.
I have been in private practice for nine years. Before opening my practice, I worked in state-funded outpatient mental health facilities and schools in Metro Atlanta. I have also worked with the VA Medical Center, supporting military personnel, veterans, and their families as they navigated PTSD, life transitions, and family-related challenges.
On a personal note, I have been happily married for 28 years and am the proud parent of two adult children and one sweet pup. When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, being outdoors, relaxing at the beach with friends, and working in my greenhouse.
I earned a Master’s degree in Counseling and Psychology from Troy University, a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Psychology, and an Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education.
I would be honored to walk alongside you as you take your next steps toward healing and growth.
