Lori Galvan, LMHC
Having been in the mental health field for over 11 years, I have worked with individuals, couples, and families through many challenges in life, to include addictions, self-esteem struggles, anger, grief, loss, anxiety, depression, PTSD, and existential struggles. My experience includes having been the Clinical Director for a rehabilitation center, where I implemented a mental health program to assist and encourage all individuals to explore and learn effective coping for life's challenges. In addition to being a mental health professional, I was also an elementary school teacher in South Florida for many years. I enjoy working with individuals of all ages.

I have no expectations of any one person other than they just be themselves. It is my passion to walk along side you if you are hurting, and seeking healing and a new path in life. My desire is to help you work through past, present, or potential future issues. It is my pleasure to be there to help you lean into your fears and seek the truth in every situation; helping you to see the choices that are available to you. I strive to offer a friendly, empathetic, safe, yet challenging environment.

I have a Master's Degree from South University in Savannah, GA, in Mental Health Counseling, and a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood/Elementary Education
from Clarion University of PA. I am certified in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing for trauma), and DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), as well as Relapse Prevention for addiction.
I look forward to working with you, and being able to participate in your journey to find fulfillment and joy!
