Hello! I am a registered clinical social worker. My passion is in helping others realize their unique gifts and potential, strive to find the best version of themselves, and design a plan to live their best lives.

 

I hold a BS in human resources, a MA in education, and the many blessings and challenges involved in working in the field of education while navigating the life of a military spouse are what ultimately inspired me to enter the field of social work, and complete my masters of clinical social work (MSW). In addition, I am a Certified Yoga Teacher who loves to share my own experiences of healing through this passion.  My experiences as a teacher, supporting and advocating for children from the ages of preschool up to high school is what led to my becoming a social worker. This introduced me to working with adults ages 18-99 struggling with various mental health challenges to include: trauma, addictions, anxiety and depression.  My hope as a therapist in your journey is to give you the necessary tools in order to navigate through your unique challenges in a way that will bring peace, resolution, and joy into your life so that you can live the best version of you!

 

On a more personal note, I am married to a kind man who is a 22 year Army Veteran. I have two young adult children; one married and one in college. My husband and I are parents to two four-legged furry babies, and at every opportunity care for our two grandpups! I enjoy spending time with my family, taking the dogs for long walks, playing games, and doing anything that includes being on the water, or at the beach.
